The mission of the Tobacco Free Kansas Coalition is to reduce the prevalence of tobacco use and addiction and to assist Kansans in avoiding the negative health and economic impact of tobacco use.

Kansas now has 28 cities with clean indoor air ordinances. Most are complete ordinances that include bars, restaurants and workplaces.

September 16-18 - 2008 Kansas Public Health Conference in Topeka at the Capital Plaza Hotel. Click here for a brochure and register through Kansas TRAIN.

September 20 - TASK Youth Regional Training in Chanute at the Neosho County Community College.  Training time: 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Lunch will be provided and there is no cost to attend. Click here for a registration form, a flyer and other information. Great prizes such as an MP3 player, digital albums and gift cards will be awarded to game winners.  Youth ages 12-18 from the following counties are welcome to attend:  Allen, Neosho, Bourbon, Crawford, Labette, Montgomery and Cherokee.
